TV Production Returns to Braddock!

TV Production Returns to Braddock!

It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of TV Production to G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School in Miami, Florida.  The administration team at Braddock has worked tirelessly to rebuild the program that is responsible for producing a large amount of talent.  The school, in partnership with WLRN, has repaired the media distribution room, which allows all 230 classrooms to receive a television signal.

While some of the course details are still being worked out, administrators have a teacher in mind.  The donations made by Focus on Tomorrow will be implemented into the program to alleviate the cost burden on the school district, which will be supplementing the program with funds from the general obligation bond approved by voters last November.  This includes digital cameras, an iMac station with Final Cut Pro, a news desk, lights and other components that will benefit the program.

Focus on Tomorrow is proud to have been involved in the initial discussions to revive TV Production at Braddock and we appreciate our continued partnership with the school.  We will continue to post updates as details develop.  For now, we congratulate Braddock administrators for their hard work in improving the learning experience at Braddock High School.
