Save the Arts Benefit Concert w/ CBS4 Meteorologist, Lissette Gonzalez

On September 13th, G. Holmes Braddock High School students will have the opportunity to attend a concert of unprecedented value.  Reason being, the cost of admission will be reinvested right back into their own school.  Students are welcomed to come watch hip-hop acts, Mayday and Garcia, along with Power 96 mixer, DJ Zog and local DJ, Juan Basshead, as they perform their music for the sake of rebuilding Braddock’s media program.  The show will be hosted by Channel 4 Meteorologist, Lissette Gonzalez, who is also a Braddock alumnus.  While she was a student at Braddock, Lissette benefited from many creative programs, which explains her passion for returning nearly 20 years later to protect the platforms that helped shape her character.  Performers Garcia and DJ Zog are also Braddock alumni, both who believe a student’s passion for creativity must be nurtured by programs like the TV Production program Focus on Tomorrow is trying to rebuild.

Students, and students only, are encouraged to purchase a ticket to this event.  Tickets will be sold on school grounds on designated days.  If you are a student at Braddock, please listen to the morning announcements and look for promotional materials around the school for further details.
