Our partnership with After School Matters allows us to provide a structured video production program to students across the city. Our CAN-TV program addresses the desire of our high school grads to continue to develop their production and journalism skills on a whole new, and more challenging platform. Hi Frequency was the high school program that preceded the current After School Matters program. Students participated in school year long sessions that allowed them plenty of time to work on a variety of projects. Click here to see sample student videos.
Innovations High School is an in-class, for credit program that allows students to earn art credits required for graduation. The program allows students to explore their creativity while working on a variety of video projects, including the production of the school’s weekly announcements. Our South Loop School program is a tuition based program in partnership with Youth Guidance. This after school enrichment class teaches 5th through 8th graders the basics of shooting and editing, preparing them to enter our more advanced high school programs when they reach that age.
